G Family Maternity | Sneak Peek

I met the G family at Brookside Gardens this morning for a maternity session.  It turned out to be a beautiful morning just like this beautiful family.  I loved how big brother L loved his mommy's belly so much.  He is going to be such a wonderful big brother when the new baby arrives in about 2 weeks.  

Mom was hoping that the Daffodils would be in bloom and we thought we were out of luck until we starting walking back to our cars and she spotted this one patch of beautiful Daffodils staring right at us.  It makes me so excited for spring to get here.  What a perfect time to welcome a new baby into the world.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

More H Family Favorites

I met the H family on a beautiful, sunny Saturday.  Unfortunately the wind was out of control that day and made for some terrible portrait conditions.  But, we managed to get a few family shots.  Hopefully this summer we can give it another shot when the weather will cooperate a little more and dad will be back from Afghanistan for good.  

H Family | Sneak Peek

What a special honor I had yesterday to photograph this wonderful family.  You may remember these boys from before Christmas.  But, one member of the family was missing then.  Their dad has been serving in Afghanistan for a long time.  He is currently on R and R for about 2 weeks and we were able to sneak in a few family pictures while he is in.  Thank you for your service and sacrifices for our family and country!  And I hope you like your sneak peek.

P Family | Favorites

I finished working on these cuties last night.  I will say that it was much easier to get individual pictures of these guys than the one family picture that I posted earlier.  But, I had a lot of fun in the process.  Baby J was happy to smile for the camera and he couldn't get away.  So, we spent a good chunk of time together.  

 Miss X was a perfect 4 year old, happy to smile for me and let me take her picture.  What a fun age!

Miss T was happy to take a few pictures with me and cooperated well since these were special pictures for daddy.  But, she was happy to get back to watching cartoons and playing with the other kids when I was done.

Little Miss A was the wildcard.  She is as cute as can be, but like any respecting almost- 2- year- old, really wanted nothing to do with getting her picture taken.  Containment was the name of the game.  And it worked, for 2 whole minutes!

I had a lot of fun with this precious family and I hope I get to take their pictures for a long time!  Oh and it happens to be momma's birthday today!  Happy birthday, dear friend!

P Family | Sneak Peek

I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family yesterday.  They also happen to be some of our greatest friends.  This was the first photoshoot with my new camera.  I know this doesn't mean much to most people, but I was able to shoot this picture at ISO 800 without a single speck of noise!  Which was important when getting 5 people, most of them kids, all in focus.  My last camera could barely handle ISO 400 and that was with a lot of noise.  So, yea, I am happy with my new purchase.  After all the picture taking, we got to hang out for the rest of the morning.  Madeline was so excited to have her friends come over for the morning.  She talked about it all week.  And Oliver bawled his little eyes out when they left.  He likes Baby Joey.  Thanks for trusting me with these precious memories.  There's more to come soon.

Kajut Family | Sneak Peek

Do I not get to photograph the most beautiful families?  Seriously!  I met the Kajut family at a new location today and we had a blast exploring the tractors, hay bails, logs and chickens.  If you just look at little W, he smiles back at you.  And big brother G warmed up to me after a few minutes and had fun yelling about how his daddy wears diapers.  Thanks for being such a good sport dad :)  I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek.    

C Family Maternity Session: Sneak Peek

I met with Courtney a few weekends ago to do some maternity shots before baby boy #2 arrives in early December.  She was such a great sport.  I don't think I could get up and down quite as easily as she did a few weeks before my babies were due.  I didn't hear her complain one time.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peak.

I finally got my computer back today after having it in the shop since last week.   We had a minor incident with some water.  But, now that it is back, I was able to finish working on these pictures of this adorable family.
